Gospel COMPARATIVE - Four Gospels of Jesus Christ is a new kind of book, simply called a Gospel COMPARATIVE. Using the complete text of the King James Version (KJV) the Gospel COMPARATIVE enables you to read all four gospels simultaneously. This is done within a clear, easy-to-read design that presents all the gospels as "one story." At the same time it also provides a side-by-side, line-by-line comparative that works simultaneously with the storytelling process.

Several things combine making this book quite unique, beginning with it's design. For example each two page spread is viewed and read as a whole. This is best explained in the Introduction (always begin there). Next is the stripped-down approach. Many well done books called Harmonies or Parallels that also involve combining the gospels, often incorporate narratives and reference information by the authors. Contrary to these works, the Gospel COMPARATIVE does not have a single word added or taken away from the original text. The content is simply laid out in a way that follows the timeline progressively. Another related difference is unlike a diatessaron, the content is not edited. Instead all four version are allowed to live side-by-side, duplicating in each account where they will and standing alone where they will.

Lastly, it's important to state there is no theological objective regarding this work. It’s purpose is simply to do the work for you the reader. More than any one thing this book helps you to see what story content exists for each individual account and how it compares directly to the other versions. It also offers the added benefit of enabling the reader to see all the things that were said and done together, ultimately giving you a fuller, richer experience.
